Hard Beats & Hard Cider

50 lbs Gala apples pressed today + 3 gallons Trader Joe's Apple juice + 1 bag windsor yeast = 5 gallons Hard Cider in 9 weeks! Like high class hooch...

And a little snapshot of another mix I am playing with. Have fun and keep it hard.

12:33 7-18-09

12:30 pm Saturday. I am in the cave playing around with this mix. Man comes up driveway with 3 foot bolt cutters, manages to get lock off of garage before Andrea sees him, screams and scares him off.

Next time have to play the motherfucker like a fish to catch him. Can't scare him off before he's hooked. Let him get inside look around, see that there is really nothing of value except a bunch of pots.

Anyways still got to play around with the order of some of these tracks. Just a rough mix that may or may not be part of a full length mix I am working on. Straight party shit.

Enjoy.

1.Aswad-City Lock

2. Too Short-Burn Rubber

3. L'Trimm-Don't Come to My House

4. Bell,Biv,Divoe-Do Me

5. Wreckx-N-Effect-Rump Shaker

6. Missy Elliot-Ching-A-Ling

7. Arrested Development-Tennessee

Take It To The Streets

This is another unreleased track I made with my man Dublin back in 2002. Everyone loves a good protest song, right? I hope you do...

Also I have begun to work on a sweaty mix for the summer. Let me know your favorite Hip Hop songs that make you feel sticky.

Sueno Norteno

This next track is from a bunch off recordings I did in the beaches, parks, streets and cantinas of Mexico. Note there isn't really one singer on this song, just anyone who wanted to join in.

Cruz De Madera-

This one is a collage of all sorts of sounds collected in Mexico. Mostly Cumbia, Marimba, Banda and a little Norteno. The vocals in the first part are "Mam" a branch of the Mayan language family. It was recorded at the "studio" of Community Radio BB in Bella Vista, Chiapas.

And don't forget you can download these tracks by clicking on "share". Enjoy.
